Wasn't that array thought to be an AESA based MAWS?

I thought the MAWS arrays are the smaller ones that are mounted slightly higher on the fuselage.

EDIT: as @Blitzo pointed in a subsequent post, the image above circled two antenna arrays that are not of the same purpose/function. A corrected image is posted below.

That's a good point, I forget there are two sets of rectangular arrays. I'm not sure which set has which role.

Incidentally I think the one you circled facing the front sector is a different one you circled facing the rear sector.
(the front facing set you circled is slightly smaller than the uncircled front facing set behind the gun, and it also has more rounded edges; the rear facing set which matches it would be placed on the ventral protrusion/mount)

Yes, you're correct. Post amended to correct for the error.

And what about the possibility this is in fact a Pakistani ME with the additional armor plates not yet installed… I heard the first ones are almost ready?

This one doesn't feature inlet filters to protect against sand ingress. Also, the exhausts appear to point sideways, whereas Z-10ME's exhausts point upward.

Regarding the exhausts, they do indeed point up. The dark area at the end of the exhaust outlet might look like a sideways opening, but it's just staining (or some other coloration) of the rim.

Thats really cool. What were the noise levels like? I know Apaches are super quiet, as in hard to notice compared to noises on the ground, until it is close to directly above.
I noticed that playing warthunder, guess they modeled that part correctly lol.

I actually didn't hear it until it was literally overhead. Hence the photos were taken at 12 O'Clock position. I also saw a Z20 but I never press the record button on my phone. It's good to see the PLA garrison in Hong Kong are getting some of the newest copters.
