While Z10 stole (almost) the limelight, Z19 is also an important piece of equipment. Interesting to know more about Z10 and Z19 synergy. Z19 first appeared with mw radar. Now that Z10 has them mounted I suppose Z19 isn't that important as a spotter anymore.

Is the Z-19 stealthy? I see claims it's ok stealth but the tail design doesn't seem stealthy.

Yet, I do expect domestic z10s to also get mmw radar. After all, the main reason preventing z10 from adding more armors and sensors was the lower thrust on wz9. With wz9g in production, z10s produced with the higher thrust turboshaft should be able to carry the additional payload, including mmw radar.

Z-10ME may anticipate a similar upgrade for the domestic variant, but until that actually materializes, the division of labor between Z-19 and Z-10 stands. That was the point in my original post.

Z-19 mission profile would still include armed recon regardless of Z10's inclusion of MMW radar or not.

What kind of Stealth do mean? Neither Z10 nor Z19 were designed as radar stealth. Though Z10 clearly has some reduced RCS. The degree is not “Full Stealth” farther the use is limited as Nap of the earth is still somewhat effective. Not as effective as many claim but somewhat. Z19 is derived from the Z9 itself derived from the Dolphin. None are radar stealth. However the Feseston tail is considered better suited to “audible stealth” though not whisper quiet the encased multi bladed tail doesn’t generate the same tip vortexs that produces some of the loud thump sounds as found on conventional tails.

I haven't been "online" on this forum for about 2-3 years and my knowledge is out-of-date. Is there any publications or indiciations that Z-10 has ASM or AShM capability or any additional armament besides AAM, ATGM, UR and auto canon?
