Pretty much explained why shortly after that "failed" bid, Z-10ME debuted in Zhuhai Airshow, and sometime after that some of the features on Z-10ME incorporated into PLA's own Z-10 fleet.

The evaluation report compiled by the Pakistan Army worth more than a successful bid.

So what changes on Z-10ME ? Perhaps original Z-10 was designed for China's condition , and not for desert condition
