Facepalm! That is disappointing.
One of the Chinese pilots expressed the same disappointment but hey, gotta get help when you need it and look at where the program is now. Be humble, earnest, and persevere!
Facepalm! That is disappointing.
A recent one here. Don't know if same as Mace's posting.
Around 1:15 the Z-10 fires off a missile that hits an aerial target but it doesn't look like an AAM, even though the image was tiny, does anyone know what missile that was?
Looks to be a short range TY-90 air to air missile (AAM).
Serious?? That's really strange any idea what nationality Ukrainian or Russian??
If you understand the mandarin chinese it is mentioned in that video by the chief test pilot himself. Again as mentioned by others before, they (the chinese test pilots) were shocked, disappointed, humiliated that their first home grown attack helicopter was to be flown by foreign test pilots. He also mentioned in the video that it made them work extra hard at catching up to the western standards in techniques and tactics.
