This bad boy here is my favorite, too bad the project got canceled.

The RAH-66 is definitely the sleekest looking helo in the history of Earth, by far. I mean, that thing belongs in Batman's arsenal. However, it was a flawed concept that was doomed from the start. Manned aerial recces were becoming obsolete and stealth isn't compatible with CAS. But damn that thing is cool looking!

that model is the Mi28N which is the all weather version roughly equivalent to the AH64D longbow Apache the device in question is part of the Russian millimeter wave radar.

It was over budget and behind schedule, soaking up the entire Army helicopter budget and becoming obsolete. don't get me wrong I feel she still will have somethings to offer. The next generation of American Combat Rotary wing assets JMR will likely feature a lot of avionics and LO features derived form lessens learned on Comanche. its not that stealth and CAS are incompatible its that the trade off made for Comanche emphasized to much stealth over protection and speed.

Guys ... I will clean up this tread if no Z-10 related news will be included: the comparison of what is the most exciting or meanest looking Russian helicopter in comparison to the US counterparts is truely more than off topic !
