A submarine's sail is almost always a flooded area so windows are perfectly fine.

Well that's something new, I did not know that sails were flooded
Wuhan 039C was escorted out of the port.
Isn't that an 039B (assuming we're calling the one with the stealthy sail 039C)?

Yes. The lack of fairwater planes means it is a Kilo. Also, I was going to mention that its sail shape was not compatible with a 039C/improved 039B (I wish we had the official designations!) either.Sleepy student?

Found this on my Twitter today. Looks like at least one of China's early Kilo sub had been decommissioned and is now being dismantled.
