...Pakistan has its own nuclear capable cruise missile, the Babur. It's been around for over a decade now.
Anyway, the extended range Babur at 1,000 km (planned) should be entirely sufficient for Pakistani needs, in the coastal waters of Karachi it would be able to reach Mumbai, Jaipur, Jodpur and roughly a quarter of India's population. The current version can only reach Ahmedabad and Jodpur - about half of Rajasthan and most of Gujarat roughly 7% of the population of India.

Pakistan has 3 nuclear submarine programmes

All have heavy Chinese work

SSK with nuclear delivery
SSN with conventional delivery
SSBN with nuclear delivery

SSK programme is the most advanced
Followed by SSN and SSBN

Yes Pakistan does have nuclear submarine programme and has had for many years

Programme calls for a SSN and a SSBN

I'm a little confused.
I think the 039C already excist, but if I understand the article correct, it claims that the new 039C will have X-shaped stern rudders.
So there will be two type of 039C?

Ofc with China in more a Submarine for know not easy !
For numbers actually thinking 15 : 4 A, 9 B, 2 C with one in 2016
but Henri.K say in more no 039C in service no Yuan build during 2 years in this case max 13.
I have see 13 or 15 in service.

For sure one Flotilla have 8 and a 2nd ( replace Ming ) have 4 i have posted ( very possible 1 or 2 out ) the pic and with this chart confirm in service up to # 342 : 4 x A, 9 x B

Rare an article for Chinese Submarine Navy have 12 Kilos but they forget the 877EKM different,

- 2 x 877EKM less silencious, long and can' t launched Klub, with ESF
- 2 x 636 named Improved Kilo a little more long more silencious more fast 20 kn vs 17 range a little Superior but normaly can't launched Klub
- 8 x 636M " " capable fired the Klub
