Russian President Dmitry Medvedev (R) handles a weapon designed to shoot around corners, as Interior Minister Rashid Nurgaliyev (L) looks on, during his visit to an Interior Ministry Special Forces base outside Moscow March 21, 2011. Medvedev appeared to rebuke Prime Minister Vladimir Putin for using inflammatory language on Monday in his sharpest public criticism of Putin ahead of a 2012 presidential election. Medvedev did not mention Putin by name, but said "crusades", a term Putin had used just hours earlier to refer to the West's call for military action in Libya, was unacceptable.

A lot more Hind, curious why the government troops didnt use it early on in the battles. There were no Western intervention. I think those guns on the helicopters are more than powerful enough to take out the rebels beyond the range of their heavy machine guns.

Kinda ironic seeing French, Italians and Americans are shooting down the planes that they made themselves. Especially seeing the Mirage-2000s shooting down other Mirage-2000s.

Surely not a Mirage 2000 ... but maybe a F1.

However in the end the Lybian AF as we know or knew it is most likely gone ... ath the ACIG Forum there are several treads already on that topic (from the beginning of this conflict until today):

... and in the end the new Lybian government most likely has to purchse a completely new Af after that war.

for the Record The weapon in the hands of Dmitry is either an Exact clone or A Corner shot I base this assessment on the pistol grip which looks right even if his hand is on it ( Bad Mr. President!! Finger never touches Trigger Unless someone is needing a grave digger!), stock I know it's on his shoulder but the shape of what is seen is right, the Slots on front of the the display screen, the three button formation with the green button close too him and the pistol which looks too be a Glock variant probably a 17 commonly used on Corner Shot weapons.
