Re: Planes of the Libyan Air Force

the Chinooks are old C models. too tell you how old they are US Forces used them back in Vietnam. also For the record The transformers movies Do not have Chinooks in them.UH60 Blackhawks,Apaches Ah64's, V22 Ospreys,F22 Raptors, F16 Vipers ( fighting Falcons), FA18 Rinos (Super Hornets),MH53/CH53 Pavelow/Super Stallion, A 10, AC130, jet powered Predators...,C17's, F117,Sr71 and I think there might have been a F15 on screen for a few seconds a mig21 a number of old C141's and a whole bunch of old types in the Smithsonian but no Chinooks

As for you Hinds I Remember a few years back I was Watching a special on American OPFOR Training in particular the use of Russian Helicopters as Aggressors in Air too ground engagements one of the Problems that was pointed out in the program was that because of the Age of the Aircraft and the fact that it is out of production Spare parts are hard too come by. Very few can keep them flying. At the Time of the program the US Army was the most Active Hind Squadron on the planet because they could afford too keep the big ugly's flying. perhaps The LAF was trying too keep down on wear and tear?
