An F-22A Raptor aircraft with the 94th Fighter Squadron flys in 10 ship aircraft formation Aug. 17, 2007, in celebration of the squadron's 90th Birthday. The 94th Fighter Squadron is the second continuously-active fighter squadron in the United States. I haven't seen many photos of several F-22s being together at one time. A fascinating aircraft, but still a very rare bird. I'm surprised that the squadron has only 10 aircraft, is the USAF following in the steps of the USN?

Do you have any more of these with several F-22s in one shot?

As far as I know the USAF still has 12 aircraft per squadron..Perhaps the other two were in maintance when the picture was taken. Aircraft do need work...

Two AH-64D Apache helicopters from 1st "Attack" Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, taxi back to their parking spots at Camp Taji, Iraq, after completing a mission Aug. 15. The battalion supports ground troops through reconnaissance and aerial weaponry. The Apache crews of 1st ACB have disrupted numerous roadside bomb attacks aimed at Iraqi civilians and coalition forces throughout the Baghdad area of operations.

In that first shot that F-22 can't be much more than 30 feet off the deck! Sweet, sweet pics.

An Iraqi woman was frightened as American soldiers from Alpha Company, 1/38 Infantry Regiment detained her son and husband after the soldiers' convoy was hit by an explosive device planted on the road where they were traveling. The two men are suspected of detonating the device and one of them tested positive for traces of explosives.

C-17 Globemasters make a precision air drop in Afghanistan Oct. 11. A total of 62 cargo bundles were dropped from two C-17s in two passes. This was the first time a combat cargo drop of this magnitude has taken place from two C-17s in formation over one drop zone. The planes and crews are part of the 817th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron, Manas, Kyrgyzstan
