It’s not law yet. It passed the house but that’s easy that’s whom put it together. The Senate and President are another matter. The House of Reps is Democrat dominated. The Senate is Republican as is the sitting President. The Senate leadership is already worried about the cost and national debt. Really the best Stimulating the Economy needs is to let people go to work. This lock down has dulled up a 25% Unemployment number where 4 months back we had record employment figures.

That’s a Blackhawk the other one is a Lakota.
Recent pictures in DC, especially Trump photo op and Lincoln memorial with soldiers all over it won't be forgotten. US proved that especially with the current admin at the helm, it is barely another 3rd world country. US soft power is completely diminished.

Those at the Church weren’t members of the DOD with the Exception of General Miley You don’t see a single military uniform. They were a combination of Federal agencies primarily Secret Service Uniformed police, Secret Service CAT, Federal Bureau of Prison guards and DC police. It’s common practice for leaders to make bold moves when you have events like that especially when it’s out his literal door step. Church burning is a huge deal in the US a hate crime often used against Black communities. It should be a zero tolerance deal. Yet moving the goal post.
Those at the memorial were national guard, not active duty military. They serve in national emergencies. It’s standard to call them out whenever the situation is out of the local authorities hands as they are overwhelmed. They are a bit like the PAP in that aspect albeit less proactive. Unlike the Active duty Army they Are at the command of the state governors. They took the place of the old state militia.
They can be called in for Riots but can also be disasters like forest fires or Earthquakes or major events. They do Search and rescue too. In the 92 LA riots the California National Guard was called out. On 9/11 the NY National Guard deployed.After Katrina the LA National Guards was on site, After the Boston Bombing the Massachusetts Nation Guard was in place. They were talking about deploying the National Guard for Convid 19 a few months back I even got a letter for them to show my essential status. The Guard was also called in after a Church burning in Mississippi last month.
Oh yes because other nations don’t have civil unrest and riots...
