In the general sense of the timeline, U.S released B21 thinking it will dominate the sky without needing the 6th gen fighter until China came up with the J36 and J50 to counter B21. Now, U.S comes up with the F47 to counter J36 and J50. Next stage is I believed China will propose a 6.5 gen fighter to counter F47.

Life goes on like this.

Actually China came up with J-36 and J-50 to counter NGAD, only to find out NGAD is just a J-20 clone.
What's actually going to happen is F-47 will be cancelled half way through development, when cost overrun and delays pop up at the same time as when US realize F-47 is and was always obsolete.

It is quite surprising to know that the last ORIGIN fighter by Boeing is P-26.
Warthunder level 0 to 6 gen, in around 100 years
I mean, would ya look at this goofy thing?

F-35 is still in development...it starting to have most of his sub systems and mission capabilities.

FA-XX will have all his sub system maybe in 30 years or so ? It's a rush job if they make it fly so fast, they talk about 3 years ? It will be an empty shell more or less.
