Another render

.. There are lots of caveats with these renders but I think they're worth posting nonetheless..

Yeah, I cannot imagine Raytheon is allowed to posts actual renders of the F-47 when a more detailed render of the aircraft has not been released officially. In fact, I doubt they will ever post any rendering of the aircraft that was not already released by the Program Office managing the F-47.

Same goes for the F/A-XX, though that should be even more obvious since a vendor has not even been awarded for whatever stupid reason.

Guess canard is a common theme for all of these illustrations. Is it possible that it is not a moveable control surface and is purely there to generate vortices?
Boeing's research has many tailless delta-canards going back to the 90s. You find more as you dig. I think they actual canards. Putting them there would get all the drawbacks of having a separate control surface while getting almost none of the benefits.

F-47 Won’t Be Available Until Mid-2030s, Top Lawmaker Says

The Air Force’s sixth-generation F-47 and the Navy’s F/A-XX fighter won’t be “available” until the mid-2030s, a leading congressman said March 17, which will require the services to keep older jets flying in the interim.

...

Air Force Gen. Dale White, who oversees some of the service’s most critical programs as Direct Reporting Portfolio Manager for Critical Major Weapon Systems, declined to comment at the McAleese conference when asked what stage the F-47 program will be in the mid-2030s.

The first flight goal of 2028 remains unchanged, White said, and he expressed confidence in the progression of the F-47.
