I'm trying to figure out what China could possibly do to satisfy the requirements of Western countries.

Russia is pulling back troops, the day before "possibly imminent" invasion:

More importantly, the news of troop withdrawal comes with the news of the German Chancellor meeting Putin:

"The German leader's diplomatic endeavor comes as Russia claimed on February 15 that it was pulling back some of its troops near the Ukrainian border to their bases, in what would be the first step toward de-escalation."

Putin also said that Russian-German energy cooperation was a priority for Moscow, which views Berlin as one of its main partners, especially with Nord Stream 2, the new pipeline built to bring natural gas from Russia to Germany that is awaiting final regulatory approval from German authorities.

You already know the bare minimum the West Demands. Sever relations with Russia because we don’t want you two working together. Except we want to work with Russia against you. So it’s a double edge sword.

The US/West wants from China is full capitulation and total surrender... to live under and beneath the civilized white advanced democracies... to serve as their slave, colony and vassal.

Trump even wanted China to give up on pursuit of 5G, airplanes, jet engines, spaceships, chips, etc etc... even Google chairman 700 page report to Congress said the goal is to permanently keep China at least two generations behind

This is their mentality, they will never accept China as an equal nor tolerate any near peer competitors

They will simply keep moving the goalposts, demanding more every time, with each demand coupled with a new "If China actually cared about having good relationship with us, they should..."
