Oh right, on the topic of amphibious landing around Odessa. We know Odessa have been basically claiming every day that there's been a Russian amphibious landing, but this time may be legit and coming soon. Lots of Russian naval assets are gathered in the Black Sea:

Updated map. There is also talk about a possible amphibious landing in Odessa

Russian forces may be creating multiple pockets here. Their biggest one may start from Kiev and go all the way down to Odessa/Crimean front

Look like they will be pushing way farther than the Dnieper river, getting the south to cut maritime access bu it look like they want both banks of the river, they want to get all hydroelectric plants and control water supply ? I don't see them getting the west without enormous sacrifice. They are getting supply out there.

Greetings from Latin America, here we are impressed with what is happening with Russia, the truth is that Russian military prestige is on the ground, seeing that number of high-ranking official casualties, mass desertions, horrible logistics, they have not even achieved total superiority air, actually here in the western hemisphere russia is seen today as a paper giant that cannot with ukraine and that in a confrontation with the united states or the perfected armies of nato russia would have no chance

No. I would not have. That's why I called it out. They have been Russian the whole time. They threatened to secede in 1994. It was an agreement of autonomy that made it so they'd stay.
You've been honest so far so I'll ask you this:

If Russia was developed and rich, and the US and EU was bankrupt and poor, how would these Ukrainians feel about this Russian invasion? Would they be welcomed as liberators or occupiers? Would they be requesting EU membership in the middle of a war? Would Ukrainians continue fighting tooth and bone to remain European? Would there be a Ukrainian "Jihad" against Russia?

That's exactly what the Afghans did against both Russia and America. They didn't want to be Soviet, and they didn't want to be western. They'd rather be with the less developed Islamic world even though it would be much better for them economically if they went along with the occupiers.

This report filed by R.T. showing the Russian forces advancing in MELITOPOL, UKRAINE. There are reports from Russian forces alleging that Russian media is prime target for Ukrainian ultra-nationalists and that Ukrainian forces are being alleged to have painted "Z" on their vehicles to create battle confusion which can result into blue on blue casualties.
