Far right: Russia is a mixed economy with strong state ownership and welfare/healthcare expenditures typical of a country with their GDP per capita. Not far right.
Authoritarian: yes.
Ultranationalist: Russia has constitutionally guaranteed rights for minorities including language and cultural protection. Not ultranationalist.
Dictatorial power: Putin is lawfully elected each time and in this particular conflict is executing constitutional authority as commander in chief to authorize a short term military operation. Btw it's only day 5 and US law would've allowed Biden to authorize up to 60 days of military engagement without consulting Congress. Not dictatorial.
Forcible suppression of opposition: Russia allows far left parties like Communist Party of Russia to hold 2nd most seats in the Duma in direct opposition to the ideology of United Russia. Not forcible suppression of opposition.
Strong regimentation of society and economy: don't know what that means, maybe they mean state intervention and cult of personality. Nope there is no requirement to join any youth organization praising Putin.
So it's 1/6. Hmm.
It already has, half of the comments are either about some Anglo conspiracy, Taiwan, or someone calling the other a shill of some respective country; aside from that there is so much of that going on that things get reposted a dozen times because nobody has the time to go through 50 pages every hour to see the same bickering.
Another Ukrainian ammunition depot destroyed by a Russian strike in Kharkov. Ukrainians are running out of ammo fast. Wonder when they'll have to resort to using rocks and knives.

Cuba has never been a threat to the US. As matter of fact, Castro asked the US first for support and the US kind of didn't care because they expected him to be another Trujillo or something like that.
Also there has never been a multinational defense pact threatening to place massive amounts of equipment in Cuba in order to balkanize the US or trying to subvert the US at every turn, trying to destabilize the rest of Latin American in order to become enemies of the US.
If China stablished something like, I don't know, the South-Atlantic and Pacific Treaty Organization(SAPTO?) with the explicit goal of undermining the US until it is destroyed, couping any country who didn't want to join in order to put a friendly regime who will join the crusade and this is what happened with Cuba, then the comparisson might have some validity with Ukraine.

With the info coming from that kind of US "officials"; we might be confident in saying that NATO forces in a similar rushed-in battlefield scenario might act even stupidier than Russia.
