The smaller pocket is closed. There now exists an unbroken land bridge between Russia and Crimea.
Russia will be isolated like North Korea and will be forced to become China's subordinate.
so according to you that satisfies 2 out of 3 ?

Not really no. I was estimating Mariupol would be taken and the big pocket linking Crimea front and Kharkiv front be linked and Kharkiv defenders be critically weakened. I would say we haven't seen any of these yet.
However, there's still no sign of any serious international intervention yet (besides you know shipping MANPADS and ATGM across the Polish border), what with the Mig deal now off. Maybe the nuclear stick was more effective than what I was estimating.

Haha...You can't isolate the large country in the world with vast natural resources. The western Empire represents less than 1 billion people in this world. There are 6 billion more people left that are still going to heavily trade with Russia.
Even China alone has 1.4 billion people. 2 times bigger than US EU combined. Africa isn't isolating Russia. Middle-East isn't. Neither ASEAN. India is still a Russian Ally.
Russia has things that the world needs, oil and gas and vast minerals, it has vast land for Agriculture that will feed the increasingly rich people in China, Africa, middle east.
The only thing the Western empire has done is sanction the financial sector. What is the use of Finance if not easing the trade of goods. As long as you have things to trade, finance is nothing. You can create different forms of exchange to sell and buy goods.
