Oh boy! what a week to go away on holiday! especially to somewhere that is wholly offline.
I have spent a week listening to full tilt full spectrum propaganda and I can feel my brain turning to mush.
Thanks to SAC for sending me updates based on what he has been able to find.
Loads of pages to read, probably far too much as I have work to catch up on as well.
Briefiest possible summary is that the overwhelmingly vast majority of what is being broadcast and printed in the west is utter bilge.
The total lack of combat footage from the Ukrainian side is I think testament to what is really happening.
Three things very briefly.
1) Just watched the video of the so called missile strike against the Government building in Kharkov. I watched it frame by frame. No sign of any bomb or missile in the final moment, the building just blows up. It rather looks like a deliberate destruction by the Ukrainian forces is a move straight out of the Syrian playbook.
2) Rapid movement from "plucky Ukrainian resistance" to "Uman Rites violations" suggests Ukrainian army is being eaten alive in situ. Again straight out of the Syrian playbook.
3) Usual dodgy and near useless out of date and deliberately misinformative maps from BBC and other MSM media. In other conflicts, we have been lucky to have dedicated map researchers and makers, providing us with accurate information.
