As supposed to the duplicitous, no integrity, and insidious America, and to become subservient to her needs and interest. Lol
Chinese people are getting killed in the streets of America because gringos can't go 5 minutes without being racist to someone, but China should totally be friends with the US anyway, apparently, instead of your northern neighbor lol

Equation

Lieutenant General

Is this right?

And also, if it is right, I encourage everyone to watch their words. Its another post-9/11 surge of crackdown on liberty, only this time in Europe, and probably more.

No "no-fly zone" over Ukraine.

Which is good... no WW3. I wonder how the negotiations went. I hope round 2 is fruitful.
A US led "No fly zone" over Ukraine would only invite the Russians to unleash their S-400 systems.

Extra spoiler: They absolutely could, given the order! A10 cannon go BRRRRRPPPP!!!!
it looks awefully bad to be able to give that order but not give that order, don’t you think?

but it doesn’t look that bad because most people know they can’t. Because A10 is a sitting duck for modern air defence and the overall balance of strength is such the US would lose many times the total worth of Ukraine from the resulting nuclear exchange if they tried to suppress that air defence On behalf of Ukraine.

The reason why this doesn’t scare the Russians is because strategically they have nothing to lose. By withdrawing from the INF treaty while seeking to pull Ukraine into NATO, the US had foolishly put Russia into the position of using its strategic nuclear deterrence or losing it. The US gambled the Russians would just keel over if there pushed hard enough.

because the US madd this reckless gamble, and the EU didn’t have the moral fiber to oppose it, and it appears the US lost this gamble, nuclear warheads will likely be based 650 Kms closer to EU at the end of this, and the medium and intermediate range missiles the US abrogated its treaty obligation as a spit to Russian face will now be pushed at least 650kms further from Russia.

People say sanctions will take 5% off of Russian GDP. I suspect from Russian perspective that is bargain basement price for securing the credibility of their strategic nuclear deterrence.

Really? Because AFAIK, the Japanese army in China surrendered to the USA not ROC?

Read this:

"The Japanese army gave me the impression of being extremely tough and dangerous as indeed it had proved itself in battle," he wrote. "There is clearly no realisation of the extent of the disaster Japan has suffered. It regards itself, with some reason, as an undefeated army which, to its regret, has been ordered by the emperor to lay down its arms."

This bit is priceless!

"There were no planes, and the train service was still completely under Japanese control. At Nanjing railway station the trains were crammed with Japanese troops. The first-class compartment was occupied by a Japanese general and his mistress, who were not about to make way for a British general.
"I appeared to be faced with one of two unpleasant alternatives, either to beat a retreat with what dignity I could muster and so lose a great deal of face, or to attempt to have a compartment cleared of Japanese and so risk an unfortunate incident," he wrote.
In the end a third option was found. The Japanese ejected a group of Chinese from another carriage."
I think you need to approach things with more care and attention to details. Please don't treat everything like some kind of fight-of-words. What you are throwing at me here has no meaningful details and analysis about the reality of warfare. If you just want to throw punch-lines with nothing of substance but political emotions, it would be a waste of time. This forum is not twitter.

Let's discuss matter with all due respect and seriousness. If you are not willing to do so, I will not bother you anymore with replies.

AHAHAHAHA! AHAAHHAHAHAHHHAAAHA! Russia? Fight NATO? Have you been watching any of this AT ALL!!! The entire Russian Army would be wiped in about 5 minutes flat by the Belgians, never mind any serious NATO army. And BTW, 1(GER) Corps, with 500+ Leopand III. will be based less than 300 miles from Moscow by 2030. And they won't get stuck in the snow this time...

What I'm seeing is a Russian Army that is taking over a country with 44 million people who are industrialized, developed and has 200K strong army with just 30-40 thousand mobile fast moving and lightly armed forces without using significant air power, significant use of artillery and bombing. When was the last time US did something like that?

Never.

Last time US took on Iraq, it was already degraded by 10 years of no fly zone bombings by the US. And even before that US used 500K troops to take on Iraq again with just 10 million population at the time. And that Iraqi army was not even a full industrialized country like Ukraine but a rural country with imported weapons.

Russia is doing extremely well while having its hands tied behind back by the top leadership. Just makes you wonder what They would have done if they invaded with full force without having to worry about Nato intervention and used bombings and artillery without limit. I think Ukraine would surrender in 3 days if that happened.

Anyways, you can doubt about Russian army competence all you want. But don't doubt that Tactical Nukes Russian missiles will be carrying if Nato decided to fight.
