is expected that a similar withdrawal of capital from European markets would occur if the fighting in Ukraine was to resume and this is a secondary motive that the US and UK likely have in stimulating tensions and instability. While everyone else stands to lose both economically and physically the US and UK stand to gain financially while bearing no physical losses.
Good post. I would also add that with China increasingly seen as a safe heaven, we will most probably see capital outflows from EU to China as well

When the Anglos couldn't harvest China with their usual dollar weapon and cycle of manufactured instability (Hong Kong, Xingjiang, false genocide charges), they still desperately needed capital to flow back into the US as part of their typical 10-15 year cycle operations. Ukraine was just a convenient drama to use and enhance since they have a bone to pick with Russia anyway re Nord Stream and growing friendliness between Russia and the two main European nations - Germany and France. They're hoping just like in the past with Asian Tiger economies crashing, Middle Eastern conflicts etc that capital flows to the US. US is not a safe haven for capital contrary to popular belief but they do have significant first mover advantages and it helps them that they can export much of their inflation created by QE.
