The problem is that all of these weapons systems have been getting delivered to Ukraine via Poland. So what will Russia do to stop the inflow of weapons into the country? They’ve already moved troops to the border with Poland although it is highly unlikely they’ll do anything. Still something important to monitor in relation to the ongoing conflict.

The west has economically nuked Russia and that will also result in national security issues for Putin .
Regions with separatist tendencies like Chechenya, Dagestan were stable till now because they were ruled by local strongmen and were pumped huge resources by Putin (something which was seen as unpopular amongst Russians).
Now that those resources will dry up considerably we may see these regions get heated up again and Russia may see another Caucus war on its hands if CIA plays its cards right.

Let's hope so!

Like Afghans - you can rent a Chechen, but you can never own him.

Already Khazakstan has given Putin the finger.

Germany renounced Nazism, whereas Putin openly laments the loss of Soviet territories. But your logic is 100% correct, maybe NATO membership would speed up EU membership which will pull Ukraine out of economic poverty faster than Eurasian Union ever would.
What are you talking about? Please cite any credible research to show that Ukraine economy poor performance was due primarily from the close association with Russia. A Russia that was severely weaken post Soviet Union collapse, and suffered massive economic meltdown when it applied the prescribed medicine provided by the University of Chicago School of Economics along with Prof. Jeffery D. Sachs. Remember that up until 2004 it could not do anything to help assist it's closest allies like Serbia during NATO Operation Allied Force from being BOMBED FOR 78 Days. Russia was so weak that it could only mutter to itself while NATO expansion happened in 2004. So when, how, and where was the Russian threat was coming from exactly? And why don't you address the point that Russia under Putin did bring up the idea of joining NATO but was rebuffed, entertained the idea of joining the EU but again denied and all these occurred before Russia managed to crawl from the hell it was under during the Yeltsin years.

It's very hard to get weapons across the Dnipro river without a bridge.

Dnipro doesn’t affect weapons coming in through Poland into the country, perhaps it’ll hinder weapons going towards the Donbass region but weapons can still be readily supplied to Kiev and other major flash points east of Lviv. Still an isssue for the Russian advance.

That's beside the point. Chinese aluminum company was able to evade the ban but the US later found out and fine them billion of dollars.
US is intentionally ignoring over $100 billion in tariff evasions in 2021 alone according to that

, and that doesn't even account for all the small packages shipped directly from China to US. China should be excited that US to fine one company billions. Let's keep it that way ;)
