When it comes to China, US always wants to have the cake and eat it too. It could get away with that because it enjoyed a dominant position, until now. On majority of benchmarks, China is a peer to US now, no more no less. And here comes the kicker: US has never thought it could be possible that there would be a peer. Not even the Soviet Union was a peer, other than nukes. So here we go. 50 years after they met in my home town, they are falling apart. Who actually benefit from this? Not Americans, I guess.

It appears that Hungary, Italy, Germany and France agree to exclude Russia from SWIFT.
The Russian SWIFT

"SPFS" It was created in 2014 when the first threats emerged of Russia being banned from SWIFT.
The SPFS system is seen as a last resort, not a replacement for the SWIFT network

It currently has more than 400 institutions, including BANK OF CHINA

The rest of the world benefits. Having China act as a counterweight to the US means the US can no longer impose their will on the rest of the world.
