Day 3 map, correct me if I got anything wrong:

Crimea front - advancing well, taking Melitopol and advancing beyond the town of Tokmak, heading north in the direction of Zaporizhzhia. The other wing of the Crimea front is holding Kherson and approaching Mykolaiv and are shelling positions around the city in preparation for an attack.

Donbas front- approaching Mariupol, they are also on the outskirts of Donetsh and have engaged in heavy combat there. But Donetsk is heavily defended and fighting fiercely (including using Tochka ballistic missiles) so not much gain.

Kharkiv front - still bogged down with some exchange of artillery fire but not much advance on the ground. Russians are moving 200mm+ heavy artillery into position here and launching Iskandar, we should probably expect very heavy artillery duel soon.

Sumy front - don't know haven't heard from them all day, still driving towards Kiev probably

Kiev front - armour column from Belarus with over 100 vehicles (probably a whole BTG) is attacking the capital from north west and pushing into the city. Also there may have been an air assualt at Vasylkiv Air Base to south west of Kiev, result not yet known.

In 72 hours Russia has managed to turn itself into a financially isolated international pariah with a weaker-than-expected military. All this military op is just nonsense. Shit.
How is Russia financially isolated when both America and Europe still admit they will continue giving Russia tens of billions of dollars a year for gas? Russians are used to hardship, the west is not.

If you want to see real sanctions, look at Iran. Not only are the west not buying their oil, they're trying to get as many countries as they can to do the same. Oil trade can only be juggled around so much.

Besides if things get really bad, what's stopping Russia from going full YOLO and handing out ICBMs to Iran and every anti American regime in the world? It's not the first time we've had nuclear brinksmanship and we know how that ends. Both sides back down.

The American response will have to be measured and not hurt Russia too much that the Russians get too crazy. Ukraine isn't that important a country.
