Democracy has eroded significantly in the west. One reason was Trump getting elected the other was COVID.

Legacy media was already controlled by a select few, now social media is also highly controlled.

I think it still will happen, but it will taken some sort of uprising or revolution rather than using the existing system.

What is Putin’s endgame here? That’s the real question. He must’ve factored in sanction measures since he has been off loading USD for gold since 2020. But those are insignificant against the severity of the sanctions against Russia. What is his endgame of Russia becomes Iranified?

What an absurd statement. The One China principle and Shanghai Communiqué is the basis of diplomacy with China. Despite sensationalist news stories, tabloid articles, crazy internet rants and political stunts, neither governments in the PRC and ROC have made any concrete attempts to actually violate this agreement. Pretending that there will be an imminent invasion of Taiwan is absurd and borderline trolling.

In 72 hours Russia has managed to turn itself into a financially isolated international pariah with a weaker-than-expected military. All this military op is just nonsense. Shit.
