i think this shows his intention. his words includes the Baltics states. i think this is more of a good timing, because covid made the western country weak economically therefore in his calculation they prob can't last as long. putin has being preparing for this day for a while. just see the small arm equipment upgrade. this army was build for this main purpose. everything else was just rehearsal to gain exp. Putin saw an opening and he took it. his goal has always being to recreate a Russian empire.
