Rather modern country that couldn't even reach Soviet level of development in many areas. Even Indians have internet, so what?
Modern in the sense that there is wide access to the Internet and the ability to produce footage by most people. It is not Afghanistan where you can twist the narrative via media with little reports from the ground.
Russians have delivered better quality of life to Crimeans.
Do you live there? I know people from there, in fact, I have several in one TG chat - if you speak Russian, I can add you and you can persuade them how great their QoL is. For some people it may have improved, for others, it declined but there is certainly has been no significant improvement for most people and quite visible declines - power and water outages, a lot of stuff is banned (even Russian Sber does not operate there), etc., the region was largely propped up by the federal government. In before "Ukraine cut them off from power and water" - yes, sorry, but Russia should have prepared for such contingencies, you cannot expect to take land from another country and rely on their supplies.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the ban in parliament and the UK Civil Aviation Authority said it had suspended Aeroflot's foreign carrier permit.

"This means that Aeroflot will not be permitted to operate flights to the United Kingdom until further notice," the UK Civil Aviation Authority said.

Russia has restricted access to its airspace to all aircraft “owned, leased, or operated by any person connected with Britain or registered in Britain,” Russia's air traffic regulators announced on Friday.

The restriction came into force at 11am Moscow time (8am GMT) and includes transit flights through Russian airspace, Rosaviatsia said. The ban was imposed in response to similar “hostile decisions” by the British leadership, the regulator said.

Guest who had lost the most airspace to fly?
