There were Neonazis in the militias fighting on the Ukrainian side.

At this point in time, is safe to say that neo-nazism in Ukraine isn't a rare ocurrence or a one-off.

They have multiple openly neo-nazi units within their armed forces, they openly glorify Stepan Bandera as a hero and deny his documented involvement in the Holocaust; they even go as far as financing monuments to the SS in the West and inside Ukraine. Even several members of the government were neonazis.

Even if the majority of the western Ukrainians aren't neo-nazis themselves, their tolerance for nazis makes them complicit at the very least.

One should be careful about this. Far right parties, even neonazi parties, are common these days. Like, say, oh, the RNU? That seems to have been tolerated for quite some time in Russia. If rumor is true, and it appears to be based on folks digging through VK during the conflict to identify people doing their stupid selfies, RNU was participating on the side of the Russians.

I do agree *nazi parties are a blight and should be hounded from the world. That toxic ideology has caused vast, vast harm.

While they have gained power and visibility in many parts around Europe, you'd be hard pressed to find neo-nazis as brazen, open and tolerated as they are in Ukraine and the Baltics.

I mean, I'm sure you won't see the German AfD party building monuments to the SS while destroying monuments to the Holocaust or the Red Army(yet), something that does happens in Ukraine and with the support of the Government.

And even the CIA's Radio Free Europe is on in the whitewashing of ukrainian Nazis

The situation in Ukraine is different.

The Maidan was organised around neonazis, they had the will for violence to break into the pairlament , and force the MPs to vote for they need.

They was the ones whom used up by the CIA as cannon fodder to control Ukraine.

They are the reason why the fight still on in Donbas and the separation of Crimea, the removal of huge russian speaker population from the elections helps them to stay in power.

I think the strongest counter Russia could make in the ME would be to announce an immediate mutual defense/weapons transfer pact with Iran in which they defend Iran’s right to develop nuclear weapons. THAT would quickly disabuse the Anglo/Zionist/Euros from their misapprehensions!

New name ZioNATO!
With NATO’s recent responses, it’s looking like this might be Putin’s best option, but with a nuclear-sharing policy included! If, as NATO reps assert, countries can make associations and defense partnerships without any external interference, then why can’t Russia and Iran?

Well, it looks like the Ukraine situation conversation has been moved to the breaking news thread!
However, I’ll add that, from recent statements, coming from all parties involved, it seems that there might not be very much to totals about, this week.

Can you elaborate on that one

Although I don’t want to predict a Russian invasion of Ukraine, I think it should be considered that, in the event of such, there’s a real possibility of a European refugee crisis occurring from within Europe as opposed to the one that is presently occurring from without Europe .

That’s a reference to several articles including the one that you posted in the breaking news thread. If necessary I will go and compile those links and post them here.

I have re-read what you said there but if that was to occur there will be some serious nuclear profileration in the whole region because nobody wants to accept nuclear Iran it would be direct threat to themselves hence Turkey, KSA, Egypt, UAE, Morocco and Algeria will go nuclear immediately and could be an over-night occurance via nuclear sharing with Pakistan and then begin to build there after to create parity in a split second
