Imagine if Russia has hoards of Wing Loong 2 attack drones pounding away. That be sick.
It's only been 1 day. Last time against Wehrmacht XI Army Corps it took 9 days to liberate Kharkov.
You have to study Syria first. Syrians will routinely lose vehicles and tanks. but Russians will let rebels drove around those things . not realizing they are being tracked to there hideouts for days and weeks. To be fair, the Russians seem to be quite restrained with their ground advances. One grad salvo would do much more damage to an airfield than PGMs.
I saw that some Iskander launchers were neutralized by the Ukrainian air force, but I still haven't had time to confirm this information. To be fair, the Russians seem to be quite restrained with their ground advances. One grad salvo would do much more damage to an airfield than PGMs.
That's the impression I'm getting as well. What a debacle. The airborne assault landed, but the Ukrainian AF was somehow still active. Then the Il-76s transporting heavy equipment failed to show up due to fears of interception. Ground units had to fight with minimal support and is outnumbered.
At least that's what I think happened.
John Lennon???Imagine if Russia has hoards of Wing Loong 2 attack drones pounding away. That be sick.
If these are Russian Mig-29s, they are flying very low and maybe threatened by MANPADS. The pilots should at least be popping flares in case of AA fire. However, if it is Ukrainian MiG-29s targeting Russian helos, it makes a lot of sense. The helos are flying low so the fighters are flying low. They are not popping countermeasures because AA on the ground is not going to fire at them. That doesn't look like an "air battle", both of those aircraft are on the same side, they aren't engaging each other.
How do we know those aren't Russian Mig 29s?
Russian forces are keeping all ballistic missile launchers in Belarus; several missiles have been intercepted throughout the day but no launchers have been destroyed.I saw that some Iskander launchers were neutralized by the Ukrainian air force, but I still haven't had time to confirm this information.
With islanders range you don't put it in front line.I saw that some Iskander launchers were neutralized by the Ukrainian air force, but I still haven't had time to confirm this information.
Fear of interception !! Aren’t russian su-27 and Su 35 supposed to be doing 24/7 patroling in Ukrainian airspace. This reminds me of Indian AF doing operations inside Pak airspace without proper firepower and half-hearted effort at best. I feel that Russian AF will be miserable against a proper western airforce. The airborne assault landed, but the Ukrainian AF was somehow still active.
