What is the source of this intel?

Do we have any confirmation of Ukranian Migs in the air?

Russia had Su-25 CAS aircraft flying over Ukraine with impunity a few hours ago.
There has been both visual and radar confirmation of Ukranian aircraft still operating in the vicinity with Ukranian Migs dogfighting with Russian flankers outside of Kiev and su24s bombing Russian positions in Hostomel. They have a limited, yet seemingly effective air capacity still in play alongside a few operational air defense system and surplus of MANPADs which have been harassing helicopters and low flying aircraft since the invasion started.

In the 2008 Russo-Georgian War it seemed like the Russian airforce was the weakest link in their military. It looks like they haven't changed. I expected a lot more, especially after their experience in Syria.

It also shows you just how critical air supremacy is in modern combat. I know Chinese military planners have known this, and also watching closely, but it just keeps getting shown over and over.

There is a reason that PLAAF has chosen NATO style tactics and training.

Russians have great experience from Syria in precision ground strikes against stationary targets; however they are limited offensively to bombing predominantly stationary targets due to a lack of sophisticated guided munitions and targeting pods which negates CAS to dumb fire rockets and helicopters; limiting RuAF effectiveness in any ground conflict.

RuAF are plagued by low budget and lack of funding.
