It doesn't seem to be what a proper general offensive to invade a country is supposed to be. Its more of probing attacks than anything else

What are you comparing it to? Russia has never invaded a country like this. There's no book on how wars like this are fought, we are learning as it happens.

The closest comparison we have is the Iraq war 2, which was NATO operating their own strategy. Even that took 6 weeks.

Yeah that's way too low. Most probably used for probing and careful attacks. Note that these numbers could also be propaganda to raise their troops morale, so take it with a grain of salt
