very good post
in Crimea war Russians were still using 15th century rifles
and in WW2 still using horse and cart
I don't think they had rifled guns in the 15th century. The most advanced firearm of that era was the matchlock harquebus.

Finland isn't going to join NATO, no matter how much noise they make about it.
Sweden probably will, but I don't think Russia ever had a problem with them doing so. Their "neutralitity" was just a self imposed fascade to justify their collaboration with Hitler.
3. This war is progressing in my ballpark. So far, the loss to Russia is attrition, but loss to EU is fundamental.
It's East Ukraine. They are doing utmost to separate civilian from combatants. It will be slow progress but once consolidation is done than it will be different war if it continue. It's not a small city 450k pop and 15k combatants. By this logic Kiev will have 120k combatants. Every few days the same question is repeated in the thread.46 days to take Mariupol after levelling the city
doesn't set a very good president for the rest of the cities since Mariupol is so close to Russia and smaller
Not like NATO is going to accomplish much with future food shortages and gas and oil shortages hit all of Europe at roughly the same time. If Europe is somehow fully armed with no energy issues, please let me know, otherwise Al these feel good news is just masking the really truth j. That Europe is not in a good place and things are going to get even worse very soonPutin has been best salesman for NATO in Finland... before invasion of Ukraine NATO's popularity was between 22-25% but now it's around 62-65%.
Sooner or later, China is going to show them just how horrible Nanjing was and for supporting Nazism and even trying to threaten China yet again, I sure hope Japan is prepared because when China strikes, there will be no going back. Seriously, their should be consequences for supporting these monsters really
I don't think Japan will be struck by China, unless they dare intervene in an event of a military reunification of Taiwan. What's likely going to happen is Japan will slowly fade into irrelevance, as China's power in the region becomes increasingly stronger, that all they can do is cling onto US more and seethe.Sooner or later, China is going to show them just how horrible Nanjing was and for supporting Nazism and even trying to threaten China yet again, I sure hope Japan is prepared because when China strikes, there will be no going back.
