CCTV footage from a Belarusian mail courier service has shown Russian service members mailing back looted articles and materials from the Ukrainian theatre back to the Russian Federation. This has been observed in mainland Ukraine from destroyed Russian trucks carrying back goods and other items looted that are not easily accessible by everyday Russian citizens.

The “Pillage of a town or place, even when taken by assault, is prohibited” and is constituted as a war crime under international law.

Previously Kadyrov made a video of Chechen forces delivering “humanitarian” aid to the people of Mariupol; when in fact said aid had come from looted Ukrainian homes and super markets, the video was since taken down and replaced with one that showed mainly water being distributed.

Looting is a common occurrence during wartime however the scale at which it is being perpetrated by Russian forces goes to show the “professionalism” of the Russian Ground Forces.

Welp, GF went shopping came back with a worrying look on her face. For a 2 liter bottle of sunflower oil the costs now is 5 euro instead of at most 3 euro. Eggs got more expensive again by 0,19 euro cents. Grain items also. Word on the steer is meat is going to go up in prices again also the coming weeks.

Yeah, EU is fucked.

Buk-1M more likely but we have to wait a little for the official confirmation
Clearly lame that they still get fighters shotdown. They are stiil launching rockets and dumb bomb at low altitude? Would be better to carpet bombing at high alttitude at this rate...maybe less efficient but clearly less embarassing. They need sead big time if they still have lr sam.
It could have been a technical problem or pilot error.

Word is there is 50k Russian and allies troops fighting in Mauripol. That’s a lot of fighters that once it’s over maybe half will be sent to the Donbas region. Also the clashes in the Donbas that occurred the past few days are small but intense clashes. The Ukrainians have repelled some Russian advancement but it’s minor. Russia is still mobilizing forces. Ukraine is said to be sending reinforcements to further strengthen the second line of defense outside the Donbas region. Both sides are mobilizing their forces for this battle. This reminds me of the follow up to the Aleppo offensives in the summer and fall of 2016.
I’m hearing 250k Russian and allies will take part in this offensive. I don’t know if that’s true. Sounds like a stretch in my mind. Could be 100-120k forces will take part. If the reports are true that there is 50k Russian and allies in the city of Mauripol then it makes sense.
It would make sense for the Russians to mobilize 250k in my opinion. The reports are that Sumy, Khariv and Mykolaiv are also targets. Sounds very ambitious but they will need to have a large force to accomplish all this. So maybe 250k is likely what’s being mobilized right now. Mauripol is taking really slow and my prediction of it falling this weekend hasn’t happened. Urban warfare is hell. Can’t imagine what the battles of Khariv is going to be like. Also this week is gonna have shitty weather in east Ukraine. I would say this offensive is going to start in two weeks the way things are going. Likely be another week for Mauripol to be cleared and to redeploy the force from Mauripol to the Donbass front.

Russian forces have been living in less than considerable living arrangements; mainly in the northern region where fighting has been fierce.

Abandoned Russian camps to the north of Kiev have revealed that they’ve had to supply themselves from looted Ukrainian homes and settlements amidst less than adequate logistics by the Russian Ground Forces.

Now we understand why the retreat from Kiev was such a catastrophic failure.
They were not doing a fighting retreat the Russian Army rear gard was in the Black Friday of looting moments
The way Russia is waging this war makes no fucking sense. Their military reputation is in tatters. Only way they can recover is if they go for the kill in the east and south Ukraine. Anything short of that is a failure.
I guess it’s true Putin surrounds himself with yes men. He should have given the military free reign in this war. Just give the order in attacking Ukraine but letting the military do whatever tactics to achieve that goal. Noting is worse when the political class tries to limit the military in doing their job in a war. All the constraints and oddball strategies is why Ukraine preformed better than expected. The Kiev front reminds me of Gallipoli in WW1.
