I am talking about in general. All the fronts require additional manpower.

Mariupol (big delays), Donbas, North, SouthWest fronts all needed extra troops
Would redirecting those troops from Kiev, to those fronts. supply them with much of the needed troops?

Pretty much every Russian military telegram channel is saying the same thing. If Russia agrees to a surrender deal now, it is finished as a country. I agree, in fact if they agree to this deal I think China should join in on the western sanctions against Russia.

I don't even think a coup is an option at this point. There would be too much political instability for the war to continue, and China will be blamed for it.

Starting a war like this is very risky endeavour, but if you aren't prepared to fight it 100% it is going to cost you.

Hopefully the Russians see sense or this is all dumb Russian mind games.

By the way: so far Putin has always done the opposite of what he announced. If he now announces that the troops will withdraw from the siege of Kiev, a massive attack is likely to be imminent.
With what? Another Steiner counter-attack?

Anything in the deal about the status of Donbass and Crimea? For now it just seems like Russia won't go for Kyiv

No mention of territorial concessions, or denazification or demilitarisation.

The problem is, Ukraine could turn around now and say, yep, you can keep what you've captured. Rearm (secretly if needed) and then fight another war in 10 years to take it back plus interest. They would have the full support of the Anglos.

Still a long way to go. But changing military plans because of peace talks is a bad idea.
