I'd have to disagree on this one. Below are all of the different types of smaw rockets:

That rocket projectile in the video clearly has different colored components and less obvious fins.

Also in the video there was an obvious second stage rocket activation once it was some distance from the tube, so no smaw for sure

The video was cut short while the tank seems to keep rolling on, so we don't really know what's the effect of it, did it detonate and penetrated top armor or did it not detonated?

I guess it doesn't really matter what type of weapon it is, the fact that this happened showed how dangerous it is for tank in close quarter environment, and where is the infantry screening the tank?
Yeah. Tanks are extremely vulnerable in urban warfare and are basically fire support at that point. I guess they thought that area was already clear of enemies? We have seen how Russian troops and Chechen forces would work closely together with their armored vehicles when engaging the enemy in cities. So I presume that they assumed that the area was already clear.

The thing is, how can you be sure if an area is cleared without sending troops to go door to door clearing it? There could always be some enemy lurking in some corners.... dicey situation all around

I reckon it'd be equally dicey if a booby trap went off in the process of going door-to-door, which would be just as deadly if not more so than armour taking rocket fire.

Adding to the fact the Russians are already undermanned, the troops would probably only get to engage upon positive contact. They just don't have enough manpower to do thorough sweeps, not least helped by the numerous high-rises that populate Mariupol.

Agreed, when I say door to door clearing I'm really pointing out how impossible it is to do so. Urban combat is just dicey....

"Ukraine is better than this, it used to be a little brother to Russia before 2014."

You don't realize how condescending that sounds to Ukrainians.
Do Japanese like to tell Koreans that Korea used to be Japan's 'little brother'?
If you don't know anything about Japan and Korea. Don't bring it up. Or you'll be the one insulting the Koreans. Their relationship is nothing like Russia and Ukraine. Go and read some history about Imperial Japan before talking.

Yes. Ukraine used to be a 'little brother' to Russia. What is so insulting about that? Remember that they, the Russians used the word 'brother' when describing the Ukrainians. Because Russia regards Ukraine as family, not as a subject. Ukraine since 2014 has become the USA's pet. Ukraine can't negotiate peace with Russia without the US's consent. Which is more insulting for Ukraine? Brother? Or pet?

Compare that with USA. Great Britain is USA's poodle. Canada, EU, Australia, and Japan are pets the of USA. USA doesn't want family, it only wants pets. How to make a distinction between family and pets? Look at how US allies speak and act. Look at their economies. Look at how heavily reliant they are to the USA.

All major powers want to have their geopolitical space. Russia has its backyard. USA has its backyard. If another intrudes into the geopolitical space of another, then shit happens. This is not decided by you or me. Wake up and grow up. The world is not rainbows and unicorns.

You want to argue about morals with me? Then do this. I want to know where you stand. Do you condemn the Nazis in Ukraine?
