I'm even more sure, China will take Russia's explanations "to protect not Russian interests, but Russian peoples" in Ukraine more than closely ... and some day Russia will see certain "Chinese" cities in Siberia and Far East Russia calling for "independence" and help from Chinese troops to protect them. ;)

The only people in China calling for retaking eastern Russia are the Northeastern rentier class who insist the central government's unwillingness to start a nuclear war for a Northeastern port means the rest of China owes them hundreds of billions of RMB in transfer payment.

You can't deny that the Indians started that hostility and went further with that hostility. They've been much worse than others on this front for much longer. Is it any wonder that Chinese hostility towards Indians are increasing now that more Chinese people are made more aware of Indian hatred for Chinese that existed far before Chinese were even mildly aware that Indians exist.

I challenge anyone to spend a few hours reading Indian defence forums. Go back to 2000s if you can even and the Indians' hatred for Chinese is almost as strong as Nazi hatred for Jews.

I challenge you to find racist SDF/Chinese behaviour towards Indians here that is as ubiquitous and intense as Indian racism.

Basically Indians have been calling Chinese "ch*nki monkey" etc etc for over 10 years now while most Chinese didn't think about India or Indians once in a year.

Only since Doklam has Chinese started noticing India and after 2020, more Chinese are finally waking up to Indian hostility.

Again check out DFI from 2010 and check out SDF from 2010 and look at the difference.

Despite all this, we don't call Indians any racist names.

Let me say this, any hostility and hate coming for India and Indians is well and truly justified just as karma for the abuse and hatred they've hurled. When Pakistan lost an airliner to an accident, Indians cheered and made jokes. When China suffered floods, Indians relished and prayed for dams to collapse for more lives could be lost. There are dozens of these types of examples that are committed by Indians. The equivalent against Indians is nowhere near as severe and intolerable or as great in frequency despite India being a greater laughing stock and loser country... sorry but this is simply objective fact, not racism. There is so much more criticism and mocking that can be leveled at India, yet few bother. Indians engage in this all the time to make themselves feel a little better.
Agree. While US attitude toward China is mostly directed towards the government, India’s attitude is directed towards Chinese people and Chinese civilization.

In any case, I'm canadian and have some friends that are pissed off about Russia attitude about Ukraine wanting to be part of NATO. Putin is bad, Russia is a mess because of him, they don'T have the right to attack Ukraine because of that, bla bla bla.

I just say to them'' Imagine if we become ally with China and China offer to build defense bases in Canada, how much time it would take for the US to invade Canada ? ''

They think a couple of seconds and stop arguing, lol.

Well it still sort of is the way those "angloids" say it is. This tweet forgets that the "battlefield" is over Ukraine. UKRAINE! previously part of the Soviet Union's heart and soul. Has it been forgotten that this is three steps forward, half a step back for NATO?

He's right that the 'Russian blitz' the US media has been claiming still looks unlikely, despite all the drama. It kinda reminds me of a #Memestock. Pump and Dumpers get everyone hyped about an 'imminent short squeeze' and then leave them holding the bag.

One important news today though:

Germany is still hedging. They are "suspending" the pipeline, and will 're-assess.' So they haven't officially pulled the plug. Since this incursion is still in that grey area of escalation, it may not trigger sanctions. It's even possible that when the chancellor met Putin last week, they coordinated this set of moves together.
