The first Zelensky's speech after Putin recognised the independence of Donetsk and Luhansk.

Translation:

"There are no reasons for your sleepless night. We are on our land, we are not afraid of anyone or anything and we will not give anything to anyone. It’s not Feb 2014, but Feb 2022. We are sure of that Recognition of the independence of the occupied areas of Donbass may mean a unilateral withdrawal from the Minsk agreements.Ukraine's internationally recognized borders will remain the same despite Russia's actions. We intend to solve everything diplomatically.

Complaints have already been sent to the OSCE, and an emergency meeting of the "Normandy Four" has been initiated. Important right now to see who our true friends are. We don't have time for history lessons. Ukraine will only follow the diplomatic path and avoid further escalation. We want peace. Our borders are secure. Recent actions of Russia are a violation of the territorial integrity of Ukraine, for which Moscow will have to answer."

If Russia invades Ukraine under the pretense of protecting ethnic Russians then China should vote in UNSC to condemn the invasion. To do otherwise will certainly alarm SEA countries with large Chinese diaspora.

Of course, China should also veto any resolution seeking to sanction Russia.

Depends what Russia actually does, it could also be harming chinese interests in Ukraine. Most likely vote to obstain for resolution on invasion (Russia will veto to oppose resolution anyways) and oppose sanctions.

Let’s see if in a few months to a year if he is going to continue to go on and on about how they are the victims when it is clear that this idiot and the USA are the ones that started this fight. Well Biden has got his wish, but will be live long after making the move that will inevitably drive the USA into irreversible decline. Given Putins personality, he is quite likely to have consider all possibilities and objective before making this move, so I guess we have to wait and see just how well Russia has prepared for this fight moving forward

We should support the Russian actions 100% & fully. The non interference policy as formulated by Zhou Enlai was our preference for all time but does not work with the hegemonic US and their satellites & vassals. They bother us every day with new hostile actions, ganging up and statements. What has it brought us the last 4 years except a shitload of hostility on all imaginable fronts? We should pay attention to the global balance of power and our interest is not an Ukraine that joins the American Empire aka NATO. A totally wrecked Ukraine and in the Russian orbit is also in our interest. There is a good chance they will eventually turn in to a bigger Lithuania and bother us on behalf of their sugardaddy. I root for Russia to wreck the whole country. Not out of spite but out of extremely deep care for the future of my people. And for us to have a good future the current global order needs to become multipolar.

China should offer to secretly cooperate with western sanctions in a limited way (like how China enforces sanctions on North Korea selectively) in exchange for lifting the sanctions on Huawei and other tech companies. The west won't accept of course, but it would remind them that losing China's friendship has a cost

Absolutely fucking not. How are you doing sleepy student?
