"Ukraine ready to stall Russian advances in order to regroup, rearm, reinforce and dig in""ZELENSKY: UKRAINE READY TO DISCUSS COMMITMENT NOT TO JOIN NATO"
GDP didn't tell the whole story. Ukraine inherited a lot of infrastructures built during the USSR years, so the quality of life was probably quite a bit higher than countries with similar GDP per capita but lower infrastructure stock.
The Russian invasion obviously changed that
It can maneouver. Remember it's role as an anti-ship missile. This got me thinking
What makes Russian use of Kinzhal special?
Technically speaking most Ballistic Missiles are hypersonic then what makes Kinzhal special besides being air-launch based ballistic missile?
Or it's to get rid of a time sensitive target, hence the need for hypersonics. It can maneouver. Remember it's role as an anti-ship missile.
On that note, seems the "farm" they hit with Kinzhal was actually an old soviet nuclear weapons storage facility, which means the strike probably served both to get rid of an ammo depot and as a message to NATO about how they can strike their nuclear weapons storages
