I think many people here care about China's true stance about the crisis. Otherwise we would not have had lots of argument. Examples are "China is going to stab Russia's back" and "China object Russia's action in Ukraine". All these noises are part of western information warfare. There are many new members joining the forum, we need to present China's position to them, otherwise such misinformation campaign will win and spread.

It is a fight that we must take up regardless how ridiculously started. Therefor, the intended audience of my post is not regular members who follow the event and making honest analysis, but 1 new members who are not aware and 2 the deliberate lairs.
I guess you are right. This forum is certainly a place where there is an sharply above normal percentage of people who actually care about reality, instead of joining the tribal red-vs-blue game of media sensationalism.

How can you tell that it isn't Russian? Presumably Oryx is going by the source of the image, and/or on the basis of other vehicles lost nearby in the same incident. Anyway the challenge was that Oryx was posting multiple images of the same vehicle and claiming they were different. There is no evidence of this whatsoever.
Aren’t you the one who posted that Oryx said a T90 was destroyed only for it to be corrected that was a T72 or something.

I don't think people here care about what both side EXACTLY said and discussed in the actual conference. I think people here care about only the media aspect of the conference, which is an important new dimension of the modern world.

Just like Ghost of Kiev, Mig transfer deals, S-300 transfer deals. All of these does NOT necessarily need to be true in reality. But the ripple effect these incurs as a result of media cover of these, are an important aspect of Media/Information Warfare.

This is why this is an era when Reason and Truth no longer matters; EMOTIONS, allegiance and IMPULSES rule supreme. You're either for us or against us, your words either pleases us or displeases us. Truth, reality, equity has no space in this era.
I think it's important. Notice how Xi releases the transcripts of the conversation straight away, Biden doesn't.

Doing that takes away the opportunity for Anglo media to spin the conversation however they want. They'll still do it anyway for domestic consumption, but that's out of Chinese control.

Going forward, all public interactions with America should be like this. Open and transparent, with every word recorded for all the world to see.

Oryx is not even able to differentiate between a t-72b3 and a T-90a... how do you thing he can manage to see if it's Ukrainian or not...

I know, where this NATO peace keeping force may contribute for the society... in the YELLOW zone, to pacify the Nazi plague etc... indeed Poland may take back some of their former territory if they wish.

3. Further west will lie a zone that will be wrapped in fancy paper with ribbons and bows and presented as an extra-special present to the EU to love to cherish and to suffer migraines and aneurisms over. Roughly speaking, the YELLOW AREA is Ukrainian-speaking and is an all-you-can-eat (please don’t choke) buffet for the West. It has relatively POOR SOIL and high incidence of iodine deficiency and IMBECILITY in the general population. It is also where Ukrainian NATIONALISM comes from and where the CURRENT UKRAINIAN NAZI PLAGUE ORIGINATED. The Russian stance should be (if I may be so bold as to recommend what the Russian government should do) along the lines of “If you like your Ukrainian Nazis, you can have your Ukrainian Nazis.”

Well, it depends on how many people (as well as who those people are) will actually read the transcript.
It's the same idea as how people outside of China can blatantly lie about such thing as "social credit" or how Chinese people "are so poor and hungry that they are eating mice, and only the prestigious get to eat eggs occasionally" etc. All of these bullshit can be easily debunked if they just took a few mins to google it (yes, even with the evil and biased Google).

It's NOT about what's true and what's being published and released and declassified. It's about how much exposure to information for the average person, statistically.

On March 17, in the sky over Ukraine, in an unequal air battle, a young military pilot of the fighter aviation regiment of the Russian Aerospace Forces, Senior Lieutenant Ilya Perepelkin, accomplished his feat.

Performing the task in the air to cover the advancing group of Russian troops, Perepelkin on a Su-35 aircraft patrolled in the duty zone, searching for air targets in a given area. In a difficult radio-electronic situation, Ilya discovered two Su-27 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force, preparing to launch an air strike on our troops. Having assessed the situation, Perepelkin made a decision instantly and entered into an unequal air battle on the move, knocking down the leader in a frontal attack. After that, in conditions of severe overload, he skillfully performed a maneuver, turning 180 degrees, went into the tail of the Ukrainian "drying" and shot down the plane with two missiles.

Thus, Ilya Perepelkin not only ensured the dominance of Russian aviation in the air and created the conditions for the successful offensive of the Russian army units, but also showed the whole world that Zelensky’s “aces of diamonds” are burning for a sweet soul.

First actual account of A2A combat if I'm not mistaken.

Taking out two Su-27 in a Su-35 is not bad if confirmed.

Perhaps those criticising Oryx can point us to a more accurate open source loss aggregator? Preferably one that isn't unsubstantiated partisan guesses at the other side's losses? Rather than desperately trying and failing to debunk Oryx on the basis that he allegedly mis-identified a couple of burned out hulks of Russian tanks?

No?

Thought not.
