Main reason they were all fast tracked into both EU

Main reason economy wise is because they could provide extra cheap labor for the rest of the EU, like the other Eastern european countries.

The baltic states are all doing mighty fine economically despite their "limited potential" - far better than most of the former Soviet Union, even Mother Russia herself - so they must be doing something right, no?

You'd think the fact that they were part of the Soviet high-tech industries and left them with a lot of the capacity had something to do with it, hmmmmm...

Yet they are still relegated to producing licensed stuff from others and GDP means little. Unless you really wanna argue that Lithuania is a powerhouse because it has a higher GDP PPP than China, or something

Some high res images from the Ukranian strike on the Russia occupied airbase in Kherson. More than a dozen helicopters were destroyed (15 by one count), together with the airfield's fuel dumps. A considerable blow.

"15 by one count"

That's funny. Do the Ukrainians know how to count? I see at most 4 or 5 destroyed choppers.

The Baltic states were culturally outside the Slavic world, and historically more influenced by German baltic littoral than by Russia.
Both correct and incorrect.
Due to the way the Soviet Union worked internally a lot of Russians settled (both voluntary and involuntary) in the Baltics which in effect became part of the Slavic world and still an ongoing cause of contention today.
Some of Putin's reasons for invading Ukraine could be used against the Baltic states as well...i.e. "safeguarding" the Russian minority living there. Heck, the even got more Waffen SS memorials per capita than anybody else = nazis the lot of them!

I wonder if some of the "-Stans" like Kazakhstan with 20% of population as ethnic Russians minorities are shitting themselves now. No wonder they relocated their capital from Almaty to the northern regions (Nur-Sultan) where ethnic Russian population is located to better enforce control of the region.

Baltic dont have independent brands left. they are just supplying to same German system that is all the way connected to China.
Even in Germanic system they have practically lost 30% of there population since independence. This will be closer to percentage population loss in Ukraine.
Just to give you scale of Ukraine dependence on foreign students and workers. just Turkey alone evacuated 15K.
