Speaking of hypothetical Chinese military aid to Russia. I think it is possible, for China to send an PLAAF task group, consisting of a fleet of (24) J16, a fleet of drones, plus the C4ISR platforms and equipment, and a shit ton of PGMs.

Since Russia did NOT yet officially declare this a war, Russia can conduct joint drills and trainings with this PLAAF task group for a few days, and let the PLAAF aircraft engage in large scale precision guided bombing of, say, Kharkov. Because the city center of Kharkov is literally only some 30 km away from Russia/Ukraine border. J-16 will only need to enter Ukrainian air space very briefly, or can even stay within Russian border and deploy the munitions.

This can be coordinated with a Russian ground offensive.

However, I don't see this as something very likely.
That would be a massive escalation and totally inapproprate, China still recognises the Ukraine's soverignty. I doubt even Russia would want that as it could set the pretext for NATO to do something similar. Again, Russia now has multiple units of heavy artillery stationed all over Ukraine, it can hit major cities with much more sustained firepower than any single plane or drone can manage.

If you really wanted to help Russia and test out the PLAAF's new toys then you may as well just attack Taiwan now. Less air miles and is a place actually meaningful to China.

NATO will do the same if it happen... if they have asked for something it's for trucks and ltv. They lost a lot of them. In the ammo category, maybe Katyusha rockets but It's probably a no go....
NATO is NOT waiting for an excuse and pre-text to actually step in with their Air Force, and they will do NO such thing just in response to Chinese actions.

In fact, they will seize the change to bicker back and forth with China and Russia, and threaten sanction on China.
Frankly speaking, the US is already sanctioning all Chinese companies on the US stock market, demanding they turn in their detailed internal financial reporting for US auditing. This is already hurting Chinese stock market really badly (although China is not a real free-market economy, so stock market in China does NOT indicate the overall performance of Chinese economy as much as in the West).

I think this will be a perfect chance to smack the US in the face.

My idea was that they don't go in for a long time. They only join as part of a offensive op. on Kharkov. Go bomb it for 24 hours. Drop as many PGM as possible. Then pull out. It will take a while for the US to notice and confirm. and since Russian positions are very far away from Ukraine-NATO border, they will NOT be able to retaliate sneakily, in equal response.

In fact, I can see the aftermath being first an intel confusion for a couple of days, then heated diplomatic exchange, then angry gestures of military equipment doing "close fly-bys" and "right on the red line" teaser moves, follow by more economic retaliations back and forth.

I am not advocating for this. I am just saying that this is a possibility.

That's a horrible idea, why go so far. Just join in Russia's drills around Japan right now and test out the newly commissioned 055.

That can happen any time. That's hardly meaningful right now.
If China wanted to support Russia they would give Russia some PGM and laser designator. Russia should have enough bomb trucks themselves.
Again, the problem is with training and familiarity.

Hmm, Firefox released a point update, 98.0.1. The only change given is this:

  • Yandex and Mail.ru have been removed as optional search providers in the drop-down search menu in Firefox.
If you previously installed a customized version of Firefox with Yandex or Mail.ru, offered through partner distribution channels, this release removes those customizations, including add-ons and default bookmarks. Where applicable, your browser will revert back to default settings, as offered by Mozilla. All other releases of Firefox remain unaffected by the change.

What's next? Is Google going to replace the word "Russia" in its search results with "The Evil Empire"?
