Scholz has reportedly have removed all heavy weapons from Germany's offer though.

Apparently Ukraine's military request from March got leaked. Zelensky must have cooked up a big rock of crack before putting this out, some of it makes no sense. 24 American F15/16/18 (I assume they mean either, not 24 of all three), 24 Gripens for free? Who will pay for all of this?? A good portion of the platforms are Russian...does he expect Russia to sell them to him?

To me it looks like the shopping list of a homeless guy who wins the lottery. Which I guess is close to what has happened.

Apparently Pentagon misspoke. Ukraine has received aircraft spare parts not a whole jet. But apparently they've been able to get 20 previously inoperable jets flying now and I've already seen like 3 of them Su-24s and Su-25 shot down and apparently a MiG-29 was also shot down.

The Russians may not control the skies but they own it.

I heard someone say those were MiG-29 fighters the US had bought off Moldova several years ago.

More Soviet era shit the Russians do not use. Because it is utterly obsolete.

And the Ukrainian spooks still seems to be finding saboteurs where they do not exist. Like claiming some stash of R-23 air to air missiles they found near Kharkiv was going to be sold to Russia for use in Russian fighters. As if Russia still used that crap. Russia is phasing out the much newer R-27 in favor of the R-77-1. As if they would use crap which only a MiG-23 would use. Perhaps Libya or Syria could use those. Since I think they are the only major users of the MiG-23 left.

Part of the "near shoring" process. We've effectively moved manufacturing back to Ukraine! Its not competitive in anyway but Build Back Blown-up is a program Joe stands by!

I'm curious about their Grom/Hrim missile program. I wonder why it's a no show so far, considering that the program apparently got funding by Saudi Arabia somewhere in 2018.

It's basically their analogue of Iskander.

It's seams that a veteran of the former Yugoslavia wars will join the fight in Ukraine.Slovenia will send it's M84 (local variant of the T72 ) tanks to the Ukrainian Army in echange for Marder and Luchs from Germany

Some black markets have Kalashnikovs, grenades, RPGs. In the Ukraine it is tank engines and A2A missiles.

Ukraine is the most corrupt country on the planet. Most of the gear that the west is giving them is ending up on the black market, not being used by Ukrainians. Some of it is even being sold to the Russians. They make Afghanistan look like honest people.

The saddest thing is the amout of delusional people claiming this must be russian propaganda, somehow. When anyone who has followed Ukrainian military news even before the coup, was quite well aware that the place is a black hole of corruption and shady handling of weapons.

I also blame OSINT types for trying to pretend the country is not a den of corruption anymore because it might hurt their think tank cheques.
