Just reminded me that how dense the point defence ssytem is for 076. 3 sets of CIWS guns, 3 sets of HHQ-10s, and 4 chaff/flare dispensers. Should be much more resistant to saturation attackes.

In relatively nearby waters, it might suffice with primarily frigate escorts that mostly perform ASW duties, with some minimal area AAD.

it's indeed remarkable - carrier level defense.
Those systems don't come free, so there's meaning behind them.

There are 34 of them, not to be used out too soon lol. But the current speculation is that the coastal province names are reserved for a carrier, which is still ~10.

Ah, I had thought they seemed to be reserving coastal provinces for full carriers. Maybe they'll make it official one day.
