this is an article from PLA Daily talking about 022 and that it can go at 40 knots (I'm guessing sustaining at the speed) and it uses that to get away from aerial units. Documents a flotilla of 022s up against a bunch of planes trying to score hits on them.
This article points to the 022s as among the ships that uses an advanced friction stir welding process for its construction.

The boat features a unique high-speed, wave-piercing catamaran hull with evident radar cross-section reduction design features ( Fig.26).
