Wait what, isn't this Hurkus-1?
IMO yes, hurkus b. But the source is kinda has been reliable in the past. And provided first images before too. And CEO said q2 of 25 for ff?

Edit: never mind. I now believe he is just wrong.

Edit 2: They say foto is representative but flight is real. If that's the case I love the new GM already. He gives far dates and takes pressure off of engineers.

What are the plans for the replacement of the upgraded 4 Gabya and Barbaros frigates? 8 more I class, or its 32 VLS variant? 8 Much larger, ocean going frigates? Are there plans told to the public?

The upgraded Gabya's are to be replaced by the TF2000. The Barbaros frigates are modernized to serve well into the '30's. The Yavuz class are replaced by the first of 4 I-class.

No indication of 32 VLS I class frigate for now.

The Turkish navy is undergoing a comprehensive modernization and enlargement. A ship class between the I class and TF2000 is to be expected but no sign of it (yet).

Asfat 3600 is the existing design for the aforementioned class, and PN has already adopted it in two versions for its Jinnah class project (AS3400/3600). It remains to be seen if Turkish will now take an interest in this design.
