Dunno, lots of rumors going from TAI trading with Israel to too much pressure on the workers to get things done.

I believe it's more of the latter and relations with his workers soured. He then basically threw the towel in the ring somewhere around the end of last year missing the FF of the Kaan while being in Germany for business and he basically had a 'fuck it' attitude and went on to dunk on other high-tech countries like shown in #4277.

He's also an old guy (64) and time for him slow down.

But he will be and should be remembered as someone who got 5 large aircraft in the air during his tenure for a country which was at best a 3rd tier aerospace country.

Well, time will tell but his successor ain't no slouch. Expert in turbine engines so I guess that is were more focus will be put. Kaan is in the air, now the engine needs to be finished.

IMO no, there are so many middle men in between, blame is not on TAI.

"A contract has been signed for ASOJ-234U, our electronic support and electronic attack (Stand-off Jammer) systems in radar and communication bands integrated into two different Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, which will be the first in the world. With the experience gained in electronic warfare systems developed by ASELSAN on manned and unmanned aerial vehicles, and especially in the ASOJ-23A system development process, work continues to develop the ASOJ-234U system, which is smaller in size and can be operated remotely for much longer periods of time, on unmanned aerial vehicles. With the ASOJ-234U system, cost- effective electromagnetic spectrum management capability with lower operating costs, long- term operation, no risk of personnel loss, ease of access and operation thanks to remote access will be obtained. The kick-off meeting for the ASOJ-234U system, which will be integrated into unmanned aerial vehicles, was held with the participation of the Presidency of Defense Industries / General Staff and relevant Force Commands. Design studies for subsystems in the radar and communication bands are continuing."
