The Turks are good at marketing. They took advantage of the rejection from some countries in the field of offering local manufacturing to gain access to the markets. They offered Egypt the joint production of the KAAN aircraft to replace 240 F-16 & MIRAGE 2000 aircraft, while the USA and Chinese rejected any offers of manufacturing cooperation with Egypt, so Egypt canceled any requests to purchase fighters from China. Therefore, India, Turkey, and South Korea began to meet Egypt’s requirements for LIFT AND advanced jet trainier , light combat fighters, and fifth-generation fighters.

Could you please all take one step back and finish development, flight testing and especially the new powerplant before even dreaming of license manufacturing agreements all over the world???

really guys, get serious… to think Kaan is ready for export is simply ridiculous and to claim this with strong words against any technical realities is an embarrassment against any logic.

You are right, it is at the beginning of its development, and the Turks are working to attract customers even for their products, even while they are under development. We, as countries, need fighters looking for the best suitable offers for them in us and financially, as well as industrial compensation, especially in light of the global recession.
When the competition increases, the fighter producers get better offers for buyers
