A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between TÜBİTAK SAGE and Czechia-based Excalibur Army

The memorandum of understanding marks the beginning of cooperation in the development and production of land-based weapons systems.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between TÜBİTAK SAGE and Czechia-based Excalibur Army.

Within the scope of the memorandum of understanding between TÜBİTAK SAGE and Excalibur Army, the first focus will be on the KUZGUN Modular Joint Guided Munitions Family.

The memorandum of understanding is the basis both for the development of possible joint weapons systems for third-party customers and for separate projects of the Czech and Turkish parties.

Excalibur Army, owned by the Czechoslovak Group holding company, will thus be able to develop combat systems using KUZGUN guided missiles and, thanks to the cooperation with TÜBİTAK SAGE, will have vehicle platforms produced by the Šternber company.

Teknofest is where more seeds are being planted for the Turkish aviation engine sector:

The teams that placed 1st and 3rd in the Jet Engine Design Competition held in TEKNOFEST Istanbul and the teams that made it to the finals of the AIAA Jet Engine Design Competition came together with our engineers!

We would like to thank the National Defense University Machine Technologies Club for their visit.

They haven't churned out a new engine for like 40 years! IMHO they have nothing to offer.

And we have heard before that TEI and TRMotor were partners in this tender, that's why TUSAS bought all the shares of TRMotor in the first place.

Technologically speaking, TEI alone is leagues ahead of them. Therefore this is probably #fakenews

Edit: savunmasanayist has a bit of a reputation for making up stuff without having a source, DefenceTurk and DefenceTurkey are more reputable news sources who make sure to confirm before sharing. Therefore I think we shouldn't make assumptions just yet.

Motor Sich did make a couple new engines. The MS-500V, and the Al-450S. But these are smaller engines. They had plans to make an engine in the RD-33 class but it never went anywhere.
