During wind tunnel tests the engineers must've realized that the transonic drag reduction/added space for fuel/electronics is well worth the detriment to rearview visibility, especially in this day and age. I am also of the opinion that a version of EODAS will be incorporated sooner or later.

I also came to the following realization: the top of the radome is flatter than those of other fifth generation fighter aircraft because it will enhance the field of view for the EOTS.

It is a combination of large radome, bump behind the cockpit for aerodynamics purposes, and relative flatness of the top of the radome. You don’t really notice it when you look at it straight from the front or the side but it becomes very apparent at a 45 degree angle off the nose cone.
