Specs of the Aselflir-600 dropped:

FqXoL4lXsAAKwWC
FqcJSe4XgAEJffb

To be used on HALE drones and heavy attack helicopters. In the same class of the Wescam MX-25(D) but with (slightly) better specs. Laser range finder with a range of 35km!

Edit: According to some calculations, the MWIR sensor of this AF600 can detect a tank at 300km, recognize it at 75km and identify it at ~47km. A car at 138km/34,5km/21,5km respectively.

Statement by the famous TAI test pilot Ozpala. Hint of the Hurkus to be used on a carrier?

Landing conventional aircrafts or large UCAV on TCG Anadolu look scary a bit with the hangar entrance and elevator at the rear. A missed approach and you get an airplane landing in the hangar...outch.

I don't think they are trying to land it, but only to launch it. Even propeller planes need arrest gears to land which Anadolu does not have. I think they do it as a research study for future ski-jump CV, not meant for Anadolu in current form to become a CV.

He probably meant Hürjet but misspelled it and the questuary defence media probably tried to get clicks by changing the context.

Hür(jet) is the one that's been envisioned as a possible naval aircraft, not the turboprop trainer Hür(kuş).

P.S. he's not the one who's doing the study or the engineering, he's just responsible for the testing so he may not be the best source to deduce something.

Hurkus might be a better choice for the nonsense we are trying to pull in Africa though. We have mercenaries in 20+ countries. Just playing the devil's advocate here.
