The TB-2 with Baykar Rapid Mapping Pod. This pod can map the field with <7 cm accuracy and geolocate every pixel with an accuracy of a few decimeters. The maps are free of perspective distortions. Changes in the environment such as new enemy fortifications can be found rapidly.

Also the engine will be the KTJ-1750 developed by Kale as it was said during IDEF'21, and not the TJ-300 from TEI.

Interview by NTV with Selcuk Bayraktar:

Selçuk Bayraktar: "The world now goes to such (5th gen fighter UCAV) platforms. One of the main reasons for the delays of the platforms is the huge investment in fifth-generation aircraft. If this were not, it would be possible to shift to unmanned combat jets 10 year earlier. The cost to date is so great that they cannot give up from existing manned aircrafts."

"The biggest advantage of KIZILELMA is that it is unmanned. When unmanned, they can do much more dangerous missions in battles. Losing the pilot sometimes means losing the war, so you can't always take the necessary risks. But unmanned platforms are not like that. It is basically a robot aircraft, so you can afford to lose the aircraft if necessary."

"Because of you have take out the human factor from this, you are also eliminating the physical limits that the pilot can withstand. The aircraft can now perform much sharper maneuvers."

"Bayraktar KIZILELMA will be Turkey's first unmanned fighter jet. KIZILELMA has been a dream for us since we built the Bayraktar mini UAV. We have progressed step by step in this struggle that we have been giving since the beginning of the 2000s. We see that we are getting very close to this dream now that we call the KIZILELMA."

"We can say that we will use the software systems from Akıncı, in a sense, in KIZILELMA. This is about 18 years of technological accumulation. Thanks to the Akıncı, we have become able to do KIZILELMA. Now we are preparing for the first flight of KIZILELMA. It is designed to take off and land from naval platforms with short runways which owned by our country too. Thus, it will revolutionize the history of warfare. National platforms are very important for our independence. Otherwise, you can never talk about being in control."
